The WSSA’s 2012 conference will take place in Houston, April 11 - April 14, 2012, at the Hyatt Regency Houston.
The proposal deadline has passed. Please contact the appropiate Section Coordinator for more information.
Scholars willing to serve as moderators or discussants should indicate their interest to the appropriate section coordinator. All participants (presenters, moderators, discussants, etc.) are required to register for the conference prior to March 1, 2012.

pre-registration
Attendees may pre-register for the Houston conference with a bank card by submitting an online preregistration form (preferred), or with a check by mailing in a paper form.
Online Pre-Registration will be available until March 25, 2012. Late pre-registration, costing an additional $30 for regular registrants and an additional $15 for students and retirees, will be available from March 26 through April 3, 2012. There will be no registration activity between midnight, EST, on April 3 and 3:00pm CST, on April 11, when registration opens at the conference site.

NEW & RENEWING MEMBERS: PLEASE NOTE
Beginning with the 2011 conference, membership will be automatically included in conference registration, making all conference registrants members of the Association. It will no longer be necessary to choose between member and non-member registration, and since membership is included in registration, it will not be necessary to separate the dues from the registration fee for reimbursement purposes. As always, membership will continue to include subscriptions to the Social Science Journal and the WSSA News.
